New Year's Holiday Stories
Last school vacation, I spent time with family on vacation to my brother's house in Bogor, approximately 2 hours away by car from our home in Jakarta.
On the way we saw many beautiful scenery such as rice fields, mountains, etc. Arriving at uncle's house, we were welcomed by our brothers who had not seen us for a long time. The next day, we walked around the city of Bogor until the sky began to get dark. Finally we decided to go home at 18:00 on that day.
The next day, I forgot that that day was new year. Tetiba one of my cousins came and invited to celebrate New Year's Eve together. In the evening I went with him to the city center of Bogor which was raining but it was already very crowded because many people also wanted to celebrate the new year with their families. When the countdown arrived, the sky that had been dark now became colorfully decorated by fireworks. We prayed together while watching the fireworks that lit up the night sky.
Not feel the holiday passed quickly The experience of the last new year's holiday in the city of Bogor was really impressive to me.
